Ipsum: a proposed new theme spotted in WordPress

This is not final. Ipsum appeared in WordPress's own code, and its own description calls it a proposal.

Proposed

The day in our log is when our system first noticed it. It is not a release date, and no release date has been announced.

What its own description says

Ipsum is a blank canvas built around the blogging experience, our proposal for what a default theme should be. Named after lorem ipsum, the placeholder that fills a page until real content arrives, it is composed enough to stand on its own and to be transformed the moment people start writing.

What would change this

If WordPress ships it, it will appear in the official theme directory and in a WordPress release. If the team drops the proposal, the folder will disappear from the code and we will say so here. This page keeps the same address either way.
